Depot Administrator

Place: Alconbury

Type: Permanent, Full-time

 Working hours:  Mon – Fri, 40 hours p/w.

Job Function: To support the Manger with all the day-to-day administrative tasks, as well as deputising in their absence.

Reporting to: Depot Manager, Operations Manager

Liaising with: Depot Managers, Field Service Engineers, Yard Operators, Drivers & Valeters.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Logistics experience
  • The ability and confidence to deputize for the Depot Manager in their absence
  • Previous experience of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure with limited supervision
  • A high level of IT literacy including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in the plant hire industry is desirable
